You have a lot of options with the different types of woods to choose from at BRI. Red oak is the usual wood we use, a few models come standard in maple, but most of the cabinets use red oak as the base wood. However you do have the other options of maple, cherry, black walnut and red mahogany. At this time and has been for several years now, the most popular choice is maple wood.

There is a big reason for this. Maple wood has a tight and even graining. It does not exhibit to many dramatic characteristics. As a result it is an excellent product for staining. From the more vivid colors to imitating other more expensive woods, it is simply a hard material to beat all around.
