155-175 Gallon Traditional Bow Front Aquarium Cabinetry
The 155-175 gallon bow front is a hard tank to beat for all around beauty and viewing. This pictured cabinet and canopy is a Traditional series bowfront with some nice extras. The deck height was increased from the standard 34" to 42". Along with that the base board trim on the cabinet was increased from the usual 2" to 3 1/2".
The canopy is setup for metal halide and has our Reef Ready option added to it. This gives a clear 12" from the top of the tank to the underside of the canopy and helps deal with the heat the lighting system generates .
As you can see the face of the cabinetry is curved and looks like one continuous flow of wood from end to end. This is achieved by hand veneering. In this process the graining patterns are slip-matched to give a natural and even look. The wood used in this build was upgraded to maple.
The canopy as with all of cabinetry has our Easy Access design and makes routine chores much easier to do.
