BRI ships by common carrier. Each aquarium cabinet is carefully packed and placed on a skid to assure the safest possible delivery. Very little shipping is done by UPS and or FedEx. Aquarium cabinets are simply to large.
You will receive a fax when your aquarium stand and canopy is shipped. The fax will include your invoice and the carrier’s documentation. The carriers paper work will have a tracking number on it so if needed you can track your shipment.
When you receive your aquarium cabinet and canopy you will notice a label stating you must inspect the shipment. If you do not make this inspection while the driver is present and you discover damage later on, to file a claim is going to be very difficult. The trucking companies will cover damage if it is their responsibility, but they need to verify that the damage happened during shipment. Once the driver leaves they have no way of knowing when the damage occurred. Fortunately with the careful packing each shipment receives, this a a very unusual occurrence. We do however want to make sure you understand what your responsibility is.
All shipments are C.O.D.
We do provide customer direct shipping when requested. Full payment is required before shipping. Trucking companies charge extra for residential deliveries.
