The Standard aquarium cabinet series offers clean lines along a traditional theme. The style of the Standard series is a good choice for a home (or business) aquarium where you want a good looking aquatic display that does not conflict with existing themes. The Standard series is also a great option for people who want to upgrade their existing home or business aquarium cabinet and canopy from a mass produced unit to furniture grade class at a minimal cost and yet still receive all of the benefits and features of all of BRI’s cabinets.

Standard aquarium cabinetry features a Red Oak hardwood and select veneers construction with wood trim to accommodate glass or acrylic aquariums. The cabinet has a full 34” deck height. The top deck on the aquarium cabinet is 3/4” plywood for full support of the aquarium. The 28”w. by 25 1/2”h. door opening is covered with flat panel doors hung with hidden European hinges.

The canopy has an 8 3/4” exterior height, 5 3/4” interior height. The canopy is constructed to enhance the aquariums functionality, beauty, coverage, accommodate specialty aquarium lighting and features a fold back front easy access design for aquarium maintenance. The fish tank canopy may be ordered with pre-drilled fan holes as well. If you are considering ordering a Island style cabinet and canopy, you should check out our gull wing design option.

The Standard series aquarium stand and canopy is available in many custom options. The standard wood used is red oak. However if you are trying to match existing furnishings you have a choice of exotic woods, stains and colors. Deck heights can be altered to fit specific needs and reef ready canopies may be added if you are considering a salt water reef aquarium- your imagination is the only limit. Go to the Options page for ideas you can use.

The Standard fish tank cabinet is designed to hide the aquarium frame and water line.
